I can’t sign in
Check that you are using the email address you signed up with, and follow the code or link Backhaul emails you. Look in your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes. Still stuck? Email us from that address and we will help.
Am I a shipper or a carrier? Can I change it?
Each account is either a shipper (posts loads) or a carrier (sends offers and hauls), chosen when you set up your profile. If you need both, use a separate email address for a second account. If you picked the wrong one by mistake, contact us.
How do I send an invoice?
Carriers: after a load is delivered, open it in the app and tap Create invoice. The amount is set by the offer you were booked on. Then tap Send from my email to open your own email app with the shipper’s billing email and the PDF attached. You can also use Send through Backhaul or Share PDF.
How do I get paid?
Backhaul does not process payments. Shippers pay carriers directly under the terms on the invoice, such as Net 30. Mark the invoice as paid in the app when the money arrives.
The shipper says they did not get my invoice
Ask them to check their spam folder and confirm the billing email on their profile. You can resend the invoice from the load at any time.
How do I report a user or a load?
Open the load, offer or profile in the app and use the report option. You can also block a user from your account. For anything urgent, email us.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account › Delete account. If you cannot open the app, email us from your account address. Full details are on the account deletion page.
